It nearly comprises covering an area of 8534 Hectares which is location-specific bounded by the boundary of Yamuna River, NCTD / Haryana, NH 1 and the Outer Ring Road.  As per the Land Pooling Policy plan of Delhi, the P2 Zone will see a population of more than 19 lacs of people living under the area in the coming years. The zone is fundamentally taken care of by the urban extension plans that have been approved so that the city can achieve a density of 250-300 persons per hectare.
